Instrumentation designed for precision
The Intuitive Colorimeter has been scientifically designed to present sequentially the colours in 360 degrees of colour space, allowing a patient to swiftly identify the precision colour that may help to alleviate their symptoms. The instrument is unique in offering tens of thousands of colour combinations as research has shown that for some patients, precision is crucial.
Once the appropriate colour tint has been prescribed to a patient and an order has been placed by the assessing eye care professional, lenses are then tinted, checked spectrally and dispatched back to specialists from our precision tinting lab. A certificate of authenticity will be issued so patients can be assured they are receiving genuine Cerium precision tinted lenses.

30 years of trusted technology
Cerium Visual Technologies was granted full licence to manufacture and distribute the Intuitive Colorimeter in 1993. Over the past 30 years, we have worked to innovate and evolve, bringing five generations of the Intuitive Colorimeter to market and tinting many thousands of pairs of precision tinted spectacle lenses at our in-house tinting facility.
The latest model of the Intuitive Colorimeter – the groundbreaking and fully digital Wave – is the culmination of our many years of experience, offering innovative software, attractive aesthetics and improved usability.
