I first saw OP in September 2011 when he was 9. He was using a coloured overlay supplied by school but his spelling was terrible. His handwriting neat but very slow, as was his reading. The whiteboard was unreadable for him and on computers he had to increase the font size to a massive 24 point size to be able to read it. Maths was not such a problem if it was mainly numerical.
His initial unaided Rate of Reading was 54 words per minute. After Colorimetry, and with the chosen lenses, the Rate of Reading increased to 70.
Not only is OP able to read more fluently than three years ago but he is also able to express his ideas on paper more easily too, something which he and many others struggle with.
